How Fish Skin Heals Animals Burned In Wildfires

To help pets and wild animals burned in the California wildfires, Dr. Jamie Peyton at UC Davis Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital and Dr. Deana Clifford at California Department of Fish and Wildlife have become the first veterinarians in the United States to treat animal burn victims with bandages made of fish skins, a creative new method of treating severe burn injuries, building scar tissue, and easing pain.
