Hollywood is great at making movies, but not so great at accurately portraying science and scientific concepts. While everyone don’t want flying superheroes subject to the reality of gravity, some of Hollywood’s attempts at science in film shatter our suspension of disbelief. But hope is not lost the last several years have seen a resurgence in science fiction and writers and directors that want as much scientific realism as possible.
