Officer Cordell Hendrex has been fired by the Las Vegas Police Department over his non-action during the 2017 Las Vegas shooting. While Hendrex and a group of hotel security officers ‘held position’ on the 31st floor, one floor above, Stephen Paddock unleashed gunfire on the crowd below at the Route 91 Harvest music festival, killing 58 and injuring hundreds.
