A little movie magic revealed for any movie buffs. The Wilhelm Scream is one of the most famous sound effects in film history. It was first heard in the 1951 film “Distant Drums.” They spoke with Jonathan Kuntz, a film history professor at UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television, to find out how it came about and why it’s used in over 100 films today.
